There is a scheduled university-wide steam shut down planned for the evening of Friday July 10th beginning at 5:00 PM.
The shutdown is necessary to allow contractors to carry out essential work for the ongoing thermal plant renewal project.  In addition, Facilities Management trades will be undertaking essential maintenance work on the steam distribution system across campus.
This work has been scheduled to provide minimum impact to university operations.
The steam supply will be shut down beginning at 5:00 PM and is expected to last approximately 18 hours, being turned back on line by noon on Saturday, July 11th. Â
