Just as the 2016 皇冠博彩app United Way campaign comes to a close, we are ecstatic to report that we have reached (and exceed) our fundraising goal this year.

鈥淲e set a fundraising goal of $160,000 this year, a modest increase over last year鈥檚 target that would carry a big impact,鈥� says Erin Stewart-Reid, co-chair of this year鈥檚 United Way fundraising committee. 鈥淭he 皇冠博彩app community proved that when we come together, we can achieve great things, like raising聽$163,691.65听in a few short months for the United Way.鈥澛�

A vital community supporter, the United Way works with numerous charities in Halifax, Truro, and Saint John. 鈥淚 think many people see a cause that鈥檚 important to them receiving support from the United Way, so it鈥檚 a charity that appeals to a diverse group of people, just like our own 皇冠博彩app community,鈥� says Peter Dykhuis, co-chair of this year鈥檚 United Way fundraising committee. 鈥淲e are so proud of 皇冠博彩app for exceeding this year鈥檚 fundraising goal.鈥澛�
