Caroline Schlosser ran to a second place finish at the »Ê¹Ú²©²Êapp AUS Exhibition Cross Country meet on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Point Pleasant Park. She covered the 5 kilometre distance in a time of 18:57, just 21 seconds behind first place runner Ashley Ryer from Saint Mary’s. Ms. Schlosser is a fourth year Commerce student from Edmonton, Alta.

Kerry Weymann, last season’s AUS men’s soccer Rookie of the Year, is this week’s »Ê¹Ú²©²Êapp male athlete of the week. The second-year engineering student from Mission, B.C. scored the winning goal off a corner kick in the Tigers 1-0 home opening win over Cape Breton. He was the key defensive player in shutting out the Capers.
