Re:听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听Change to course withdrawal date 听
Further to听yesterday鈥檚 message about the remainder of the fall term,听we wanted to update you, the students, on an important academic measure听approved by the Senate Planning and Governance Committee (SPGC) on behalf of Senate.
The withdrawal (W) date for all Fall Term courses has changed to November 25.听For information on the withdrawal process, please visit the听Registrar鈥檚 Office website. 听
SPGC also approved changes to the 皇冠博彩app syllabus policy that will give departments, programs and individual faculty members greater flexibility when it comes making adjustments to current courses. Everything possible will be done to ensure any changes do not disadvantage you in your progression through your academic programs. 听
These initiatives are a small part of the broader university-wide contingency planning to support students through this strike and allow for听completion of as many fall term courses as possible.听As we acknowledged yesterday, these plans will look a little different across our Faculties and will need to be adaptative depending on the duration and impact of the strike 鈥 more specifically, different or additional measures may be necessary the longer a strike continues. 听
Some students may begin hearing from their Faculties, programs and instructors over the Study Break about changes to course delivery.听We promise to update everyone on the status of our continuing response as we work through these important contingencies with our Faculties, departments and programs. 听
Sincerely, 听
Leslie Phillmore
Associate Vice-President Academic 听
